Hovering over the name shows both hero and alter ego. It doesn't work for the multi-form heroes if thats what you mean?
I planned to add a custom hero for that, but maintaing custom cards would be a lot of work, and confuse most people who dont use custom content.

You can do whatever you want with the api, that is what it is for. Caching the api requests is good and helps make sure you dont overload the server.
have you tried reloading or clearing the cache? If that does not work, what browser are you using?
