conflict with the my_commands.sh

the first statement cd takes you to the home directory which makes create.py unaccessible. Therefore the cd should be removed

The project considers that your files are in the home directory, if you don't want them all in there, I recommend you to move out 'my_commands.sh' to the home directory and edit it to, instead of going to home directory (cd), create.py's location. Then, Issue resolved.
