UI looks a bit outdated. It would be great if the app got a design update to material design 3 with dynamic color support

This is certainly a good idea. I don't have the resources to look into this myself in the near future, but I welcome pull requests. Ideally these are small and don't break existing behaviour, so that we can gradually improve things.
