This issue appears to be resolved as of version 3.2.1a.

Even with the fix implemented by Orf1, I believe that CarryOn can still be used to exploit the GUI dupe.

Reproduced on 3.2.1a.

This exploit is still replicable as of v.3.1.1a.

This exploit is only applicable for Toroquest villagers. Further testing proves that normal vanilla 1.12.2 villagers do not have this issue.
