Cannot Install the untitled project x

I cannot install the untitled project x using special k install manager skim64. It said that an error occurred during the install, I already tried it repeatedly and try reinstall it many times but still cannot install the untitled project x. I bought the game from steam and not using any third party program.

Same here. Looking through the help thread on steam, there was the suggestion that certain programs could interfere, but even after closing everything and disabling my security program, the error still happened. I tried everything reasonably possible- running as admin, running in compatibility mode, closing every non-vital program and process, trying earlier SKIM64.exe versions, tried SKIM.exe, still nothing.

Looks like I really have no choice in downloading it manually, but it doesn't seem like that wants to work either. Kaldaien, I, and I think OP to, would really appreciate some help on this issue.

I'm having the same problem it happens when i'm installing dxgi.dll it says Install failed "Something went wrong attempting to download installer DLL." I have to install it from the unx.7z file myself cause there is no way for me to fix this.
