Option to only backup while players are online
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Not really. It could be a problem if you start playing after a few days and realize you want to load a backup but they're from today when no one was playing.
Describe the solution you'd like Add another option to add to the docker-compose.yml file in the schedule section.
Describe alternatives you've considered I tried to fork the repo to fix it but I give up haha.
Additional context This should be relatively easy for someone like you I think :)
This would save space, but I’m not sure how it solves the described use case? Trimming of the backups would still happen, meaning you have a single backup per day for the history you provide. So if the backup you want is from a previous day anyways, the last backup for that day is the one preserved.
Is there something I’m missing here?
I'm trying to make my server as similar to a realm as possible. So I want a backup every 30 minutes, but only when players are online. It'll only trim backups when there are more than the minimum number (10 for me), so basically I always have the last 5 hours of play time to revert back to. My wife dies a lot and wants to be able to load a recent backup. We've had situations before where we stop playing because we died or whatever, then the next day when we go to play we're like oh yeah we died, let's load a backup. So if there was only one backup for that day, it would be after we had died. Thanks for replying so fast!

This is something I'd like to add during the 1.4 timeframe. The catch is that this relies a lot on the work for #94, which may only be partially complete when 1.4 lands. So this may come as part of a follow on update to 1.4.
