Add unit tests across all files

There have been a lot of small bugs in the codebase, this is mainly due to some things being overlooked, or misunderstood by myself. This issue is open to make sure we reach 100% testing coverage for the codebase. Currently the server and shared folder are at 27.89% coverage, over the next few months I'll be spending a lot of time to make sure that coverage reaches 100%.
