Pain
Currently, the Spotube main screen focuses on playlists, but users expect to see suggested song tracks directly on the homepage based on recommendations, listening history, or algorithms. This makes it more difficult to discover recent or related music quickly without browsing through playlists or conducting a search. Just like the experience in YT Music, users want a dynamic feed of song suggestions on the main screen.
Suggested solution
Update the main screen UI to display song track suggestions (e.g. 'Recommended for you', 'Based on your recent listens') directly alongside or above playlists, similar to YT Music's homepage. Allow users to play or interact with suggested tracks without having to navigate into playlists. Use Spotify's recommendation API or Listenbrainz integration for this feature.
