I am facing the exact issue, the songs do not play. I have tried clearing cache, data, force stop, relogging and reinstalling; none of them repairs the issue

Spotube uses YouTube as the song reference. If the song is only posted on Spotify, u won't be able to listen it.

The songs were stuck at 0:00, it repaired randomly. I can listen to the songs now. Appreciate you for providing the information as well

I'm facing the same issue. On Android, songs are not played.

It's not really a new bug, it is present since I know from version 3.

And at the same time on windows side, it works perfectly.

It is not related to songs only registered on Spotify only or something else. I checked that done it's available on YouTube with the link song.link

But after getting inside this loop of not playing songs, the app seems to be stuck in a loop since we cannot do the track skip

After few trials, it seems to be network dependant.

With my cell phone (Pixel 6 on Android 15), on mobile network, I have usually bug in the song playing. On wifi to my home network, no issue... I tried 3 different network provider and issue is still the same...

And also when the bug appears, I check the song link and of course, everything is available on YouTube directly and works fine on YouTube.

On my windows based computer, on my network home, it works fine whatever the connexion (wired or wifi).

So the bug is due to search management inside the app perhaps with some timeout or no need commands sent.
