Weird spotify login issue

Current Behavior

whenever i try to log into spotify, instead of getting the window i get this

and i have tried everything to fix it. my current system is arch linux, with kde plasma and i installed from flathub

Expected Behavior

it should show the normal spotify login page

Steps to reproduce

i tried to log in by clicking the connect with spotify button on the settings page, which then gave me the attached screenshot

Im not sure. i havent updated to 4.0.0
