Application crash after clicking back arrow of search tab

Current Behavior

Firstly, on selecting the search bar and then shifting to a different tab (Browse, Library, etc.), the search bar remains visible above the selected tab window. Second, pressing the back arrow of the search bar after following the steps above turns the entire app window black.

Expected Behavior

The search bar should have disappeared on switching to a different tab and clicking back on the search bar should only hide the search bar

Steps to reproduce

1. Select search tab
2. Click on the search bar
3. Select a different tab (Browse, Library, etc)
4. Click back arrow of search tab
5. Entire app window turns black

I have the same bug on Windows 10 with the latest stable release 3.8.3.

It works on Mint 22 to. Seems to be a bug on all platforms
