This is probably not a Spotube issue and a Window Manager issue. Check your Window Manager's transparency settings. Also upgrade to the latest version 3.6.0

I did try to reproduce this on a pop_os! (I hate the naming) 22.04 VM but it all worked fine in both x11 and wayland.
