Edit mode option missing on MacOS

Hello!

I typically use python to create my designs in Klayout in viewer mode but I am trying to access editing mode. I do not have the option to select it when I go under "Setup" to look for "Editing mode" under "applications" as the pop up message indicates to do. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this bug?

Hello,

It's weird. Can you give me some details about your environment and the DMG package if you are using it? I took the picture below on my Intel Mac (you may be using an Apple silicon machine. I don't own one).

One thing you can try: Rename $HOME/.klaryout/klayoutrc file and restart the tool.
