Task switch via app tray is unreliable

Platform: windows 10

I noticed that switching tasks via the tray icon menu (Right click -> Start Task) does not work reliably. Often it takes two tries to actually start the new task. This leads to the situation that I have to retroactively change my recorded times, because I come to the conclusion that some task swiches have not been recorded, that is, if I notice at all.

The issue does not seem to be fixed. I just observed the same issue again.

Does not seem to be an issue in 1.12 on FreeBSD (which is totally different from the environment in which this was reported -- but worth re-checking anyway).
