ID1 vs ID2 in `bam.lst` and biological donor knowledge?

I have two questions about the sample test/bam.lst which has the following:

ID1,/rsrch3/scratch/bcb/jdou1/scAncestry/Monopogen/example/A.bam
ID2,/rsrch3/scratch/bcb/jdou1/scAncestry/Monopogen/example/B.bam
  1. What does col1 (ID1,ID2) of bam.lst indicate?
  2. Suppose I have the ability to assign every barcode CB in my 10X experiment to a specific biological donor ID. How can I use this study knowledge to gain confidence in the germline genotypes?
