Removing or hiding stickies on r9k doesn't persist after closing the app

Some months ago the stickies on r9k reappeared and will come back no matter what I do. On every other board I use with a sticky (fit, k, ic) the stickies never came back.

you can fix this by starting fresh, deleting cache and data of the app
