Error message in status bar

I have the latest version of Slice Master installed and am using SSDR 3.10.10. After launching, an error message appears in the status bar at the bottom. If I hover my mouse over it, I can see the full text. Any ideas?

Torsten, I also get this error but have been able to get a workound for slicemaster 0.11.0g.

  1. Toggle the active IQ stream off and on in SmartSDR DAX 3.10.10
  2. Toggle the selected IQ stream in SmartSDR (if set to DAX IQ 1, then try 2, if set to DAX IQ 2, try 1.
  3. Restart slicemaster and reconnect (I have the start with radio disconnected option selected)

Repeat any of the above steps and i will connect. I haven't exactly gotten this down to a science. Also if RTT spikes on your FlexRadio restart slicemaster. Something funky is going on, but I'm able to operate 99% of the time with these tips.

HI, I have the same issue still even after trying your approach any times.

Phil (M0EAS), Sorry I don't have any additional tips. My work around is annoying but at least gets me on the air. Hope flexradio and don can figure this out. In mean time I've also reverted back to SmartSDR v3.8.23 and everything seems to work fine. chris de wx7v

I keep getting the error message and I know a few people with the same problems.

I did email K1DBO but had no reply Torsten. Not sure what support there is currently for any new issues. Its a pain as I am now using N1MM to feed SmartSDR with spots which is fine other than having more applications open, however I need to find an alternative approach to feed Skimmer.

The best alternative is SDC by Yuri, UT4LW. Unfortunately, the current version isn't fully compatible with SmartSDR 3.10.10. The bug has already been identified and will be fixed in the next SmartSDR version.

I upgraded to SmartSDR 3.10.15 yesterday - while I still see the error message in the status bar, DAX-IQ streaming is now working for me. I'm able to connect locally and remotely with the Maestro C. Chris de WX7V

Well, unfortunately I’ve had to revert back to SmartSDR 3.8.23 to get everything stable and working properly. Had to stop/restart DAX too many times and was seeing the old latency issues introduced in 3.9
