Slicemaster not opening CW skimmer, WSJT-X or JtDX
After upgrading my Flex 6600 to 3.10.10, Slice Master 0.11.0g doesn't open CW skimmer, WSJT-X or JtDX.
Error: err=AttributeError("type") Traceback (most recent call last): File "flex\flex.py There is more info but I was unable to capture it.
Is this a slicemaster compatibility error or a Flex issue?
Phil
Same issue on this end with my 6600 and new updated version of 3.10.10 and will not JTDX, which with previous version was working OK.

The developer doesn't seem to be available to fix this critical bug and there doesn't seem to be any source code made available so another developer could fix this bug and get the community back up and running.
Moving the comment I left in issue 30 to this bug.
I also get this error but have been able to get a workound for slicemaster 0.11.0g.
-Toggle the active IQ stream off and on in SmartSDR DAX 3.10.10 -Toggle the selected IQ stream in SmartSDR (if set to DAX IQ 1, then try 2, if set to DAX IQ 2, try 1. -Restart slicemaster and reconnect (I have the start with radio disconnected option selected)
Repeat any of the above steps and i will connect. I haven't exactly gotten this down to a science. Also if RTT spikes on your FlexRadio restart slicemaster. Something funky is going on, but I'm able to operate 99% of the time with these tips.

I found an alternative work-around: Start (or set once started) all DAX streams to OFF, start Slicemaster, then turn on the streams you need. Seems to work for now. Sure hope this gets fixed soon...
I can confirm your workaround works VERY well. Thanks for helping to troubleshoot. There are no errors in the slicemaster when DAX streams are turned OFF at start up.
