Support searching for users/profiles

You didn't specify, but I'm assuming you mean Twitter? Could be done via the search, but it's not implemented currently. It also doesn't seem very reliable; it returns plenty of results with variations of the name (Jim, Jamie, etc.) and also some that seem like they shouldn't match at all. No clue whether you'd get all matching users either.

VK seems to also have a search like that, so that could be done as well. For all other networks, I don't think it's possible.
