Beginning very soon, you'll need to have Deno (or another supported JavaScript runtime) installed to keep YouTube downloads working as normal.
only mention in comments for this around seal/android

Is there a way to make the seal app on android still works? There doesnt appear to be a deno version for android. I only ever use ytdlp via the android seal app

The Linux version of Deno should work (maybe the pre-compiled binaries can't be used, but that shouldn't be too much of an issue). Seal will need to be modified to include it, of course.

I'm sad, that Seal hasn't been updated in such a long time. Considering that, I recommend to use, at least temporally, YTDLnis, which already integrates QuickJS, is still in development and could inspire the integration of a JS runtime in Seal: https://github.com/deniscerri/ytdlnis/commit/63dc75f106f06d95257bc89c0f3f2332d4b81ab5
Maybe if the project is forked by a maintainer with time.
