Show selected key in “converting” state during key sliding until finger release
When sliding to select a sub character, the currently selected key is highlighted in blue. However, this highlight is often hidden by the user’s finger, making it hard to see which key is selected.
I think UX can be improved by making the selected key appear as if it is in the “converting” state, similar to how text is marked during IME conversion, and have this visual state persist in the input field until the finger is released. This would make it clearer which key is actively selected while sliding, even if the highlight itself isn’t visible under the finger.
I think this is a really smart idea! Anyone willing to write the code ? This is an alternative to https://github.com/Julow/Unexpected-Keyboard/issues/132
