FR/discussion keys/placeholders of different widths
looking at #1121, i found similar problem with this KB.
since i write mostly with one finger (usually right big one) i make typos often,
the solution could be in defining some progression fuction for widths, linear or cubic, like center keys narrow and going to sides the widths is increased.
most typos i do on letters I O P and K L (in QWERTY) whose are the most close to finger.
thanks.
When I have that problem, the culprit is holding the tablet at an angle—It's not proximity to hand but parallax.
If you want to change the layout as a work-around, Custom Layout lets you specify any width for any key.
coo,l i did not know about that ability
It's documented here—What you want is at Keys / Layout.
The layout format doesn't allow changing the hitbox for a key without also changing the apparent size of the key. If you often time with one hand, you could try a layout like this: https://github.com/Julow/Unexpected-Keyboard/issues/492#issuecomment-2745205102
What the difference between this issue and https://github.com/Julow/Unexpected-Keyboard/issues/1121 ?
suggestions are cool, will share my experience later. Thanks, @Julow @Spike-from-NH
