Added a few features, etc...
Sorry about this unorganized pull request. I don't have the time right now to do this properly as I'll be busy for a while but I'd like to share the features I've implemented so far.
I added swipeable cursor controls like gboard, a new black theme, theme customization, ability to draw key borders, highlight of active key/subkey, swedish layout, modified bottom row, added Ctrl+Alt lockable modifier shortcut, made all modifier keys lockable within a timeout, ability to show accents with fn key and some other things.
I have not abandoned this. Life and work has been busy. If there is something I have added that you want to refine, feel free to do so.

I won't take the accent_fn thing but I'd like to understand why you needed it. Do you want the dead keys to be hidden when all the accented letters you would need are already on the layout ? Do you switch between two languages and don't want to see the dead keys related to the other language ?

I switch between 3 languages on a regular basis. I have memorised the location of the most used accents, so I do not have to look for them. Plus, I hate not being able to write some character just because it's not on the keyboard. As for why they are hidden, I like having the keyboard as uncluttered as possible. I use accents a few times, but I use the symbols all the time (but keep forgetting where they are) since I program on my phone when I have spare time. I even made these additions using termux as a development environment for just that reason.
I added "sliding" keys in 854eff2, which supersedes "swipekeys" in this PR. Holding modifiers have been added in 53b9afa.
It seems that the only thing left in this PR is the configurations for the borders. I welcome anyone to rebase and continue the work on this.
