Excellent plugin but extremely poor documentation...
Sharrre is the best social media plugin that I came across for consistent looking social media icons and count. There's no other so far that I know can deliver or could come close to it. However, the documentation is extremely poor around plugin integration.
No info is provided about sharrre.php and how and why it exists and why google+ doesn't work usually, and how to fix it. How to setup pinterest, stumbleupon and some others - no detailed demos. I wish if I could use it easily as I could many others. I see a lot of people complain google+ not working. I too have the same issue along with pinterest and stumbleupon - there are no clear instructions around those three that just don't work (Facebook/Twitter/Linkedin works fine however).
I could no't agree more, as bad as I would like to use this plugin poor documentation does not allow me to implement it.
I have no idea how to integrate this plugin on my site. I tried and it does not work. But i'm not very good for such a work...
I will chime in to agree, as well. I'm loosing precious work time right now trying to figure it out. Thanks for creating the plugin, but it would help if there was an explanation of how to implement the php file so that we could get Pinterest Stumbleupon and Google+ working.
So, I may have a little bit of answer for you about Pinterest Stumbleupon and Google+ issues. For me, it seems as though the standard buttons work fine, but if I don't want to use these, the plugin relies on the sharrre.php file. Your javascript will return an error if you do not set the "urlCurl:" value when initializing the different social networks in your js file. Just use enter the url path to where the sharrre.php file is being stored ex: "http://www.example.com/wp-content/themes/exampletheme/sharrre.php".
Thanks @seansean11 , your comment just helped me getting the +1 button to work!
