Thining and Skeletonozation

Is there a plan/objection to implement Thining, Skeletonozation and pruning as part morphological operations?

There's some thinning (see the source file edge.jl) and we now have feature_transform and distance_transform, but much of this is not yet available. I think it would be a great addition. There's the perennial discussion of whether to add it to Images.jl or put it in one of the other JuliaImages packages (or start an ImageMorphology.jl package under the JuliaImages umbrella), but that can also be decided at some later point.
