(Fedora 41/42 ships LLVM 18 so requires Julia 1.12)

#775 seems to aim for similar things. Maybe worth joining efforts?

Ah, sorry I missed that! Happy to join efforts! The other approach seems a little more manual, I think it would be nice if everything worked without setting ROCM_PATH manually.
