Highlights.jl Status of the Highlights.jl package?

@MichaelHatherly: Looking at #55, I think we'd have quite a bit of maintenance work here (getting CI working, dependabot, updating Documenter etc.). Probably worth doing, but how do we feel about the future of this code in general?

Is the functionality still something relevant? Would it need to be updated to latest Julia? Should we just archived/deprecate it?

I am also not 100% sure how much this package overlaps with https://github.com/JuliaLang/JuliaSyntaxHighlighting.jl (cc @tecosaur).

I've not had much use for it in recent years unfortunately. But I'll take a look at getting back to a non-broken state at least in the next few days if time allows.

Since we revived the CI etc., I think we can consider it to be alive and kicking. So closing this 🙂

Yeah, sounds good. I'll note that I am currently reviving https://github.com/MichaelHatherly/TreeSitter.jl to see whether that can be leveraged to provide a more expansive set of parsers rather than us having to maintain them all ourselves. Seems like it'll probably work.
