This seems to work (on LTS) but as most CI platforms fail I'm not sure it's a good idea to merge this, even if failures seem unrelated.

@nalimilan I have invited you to admin roles on this repo and then you are free to manage it yourself.

I personally have had zero interest in it for quite a long time as it is thoroughly deprecated and superseded by modern arrow, but if you have use for it than I think you are probably the best person to handle this.

Thanks. TBH I don't really want to dive into this either, I thought this would be easy to handle but it seems like that's tricky...
