Interactive mode behavior

I used interactive mode to create a package, and got something like this:

CompatHelper keywords to customize:
[press: d=done, a=all, n=none]
   [ ] cron
   [ ] destination
 > [ ] file

I pressed d to select nothing and skip to the next step, but it did not work. I had to press q to go to the next step. Is it some kind of bug?

i could not recreate this on PkgTemplates master and Julia v1.7.2 -- what version of PkgTemplates and Julia were you using?
