WiFi not working on BCM94352Z
Thank you for this project and guide! I've got Intel WiFi and Bluetooth working, but not the AirDrop feature, so I switched to BCM94352Z, and found that the WiFi isn't working. Even though I can see the nearby network, I couldn't connect to any of them, it just keeps asking me for password, or continue to say fail to connect. And the Bluetooth also disconnect itself after a short while. Is there any known solution for this kind of behavior? Thank you!
WiFi is somewhat tricky.
The Broadcom card may not be working due to the previous intel wifi configuration that was set up to the OS and was not properly cleared.
Can you provide me the output of kextstat | grep Brcm
?
A vanilla install might be required if everything looks fine from the kernel side.
@Juan-VC , how is bluetooth working in Monterey on your 08XRYC? I have a DW1560 which is 06XRYC, airdrop only works from iPhone to Hack, apple watch does not unlock after the first time and no sidecar and universal control. On the OpenCore website it seems that 08XRYC is based on Apple Chip and should work as expected. Can you confirm that?
Bluetooth has some issues on Monterey, not only us but many other people have reported problems with AirPods and apple watches (me included). These issues have to do with some Bluetooth changes apple introduced with Monterey. For me, a couple of updates before airdrop used to work in both ways but when Monterey was released it only worked one way and it's the same case now. I now work and unfortunately do not have that much time to conduct a lot of testing either.
Please post any fixes if you come across any
