We have some interested users on our Matrix channel. It would be good to have a bridge which can replicate messages from the #general channel in Discord to their so that users on that side can more easily see project information and communication

This was recommend by one of our community members: https://github.com/42wim/matterbridge It seems to have out of the box support for creating the bridge.

What I'm not clear on, is how this sort of "task" would be assigned? This bot as well as all others would need to be installed and monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure reliability.
