Idea: Hosted Atlas launcher and operator
What if launching a new branded version of Atlas was not only code free, but literally as easy as launching a subreddit? Even going so far as having like a creation flow where you define your categories, provide assets, all of the stuff that operators can customize. What would that do in terms of lowering the bar for people to try? It seems like it would open the door for a lot more experimentation, also by people who are primarily topic and community experts, more than tech/dev experts. Simply hosting on joystream.org/v/<name>
is probably the easiest way to just sidestep the whole DNS issue.
Undoubtedly a substantial amount of work to do well on the infrastructure side, but is a really intriguing idea. Also work on the front-end & backend side of just the operator experience.
Question
Can one open this up before there is easy to use moderation at operator level? so Orion
based. By easy I mean in some sort of UI, no requiring CLI.
I suppose trying to open this up earlier can still be worthwhile?
