Economise on vertical space
I did a review and I think there is consistently too aggressive use of vertical space on a number of our pages. This was my initial hunch when reviewing the designs, but the point was made that vertical space is not that scarce, as users are used to scrolling to discover. However, I am not convinced this premise really remedies the waste, as the initial impression I get when landing on lots of pages and sections is that its too empty and that I will have to do quite a lot of work to cover a lot of content. The adjustment is easy and small here.
I think the situation with the horizontal lines generate the same effect, they introduce 2 extra margins in the flow when there is actually very little need (it would seem at least) to define this boundry clearly, as the video preview rows often do this work well. It makes more sense for channel previews when this is not present. I don't think we need to do anything with this at this time, just making an observation.
