We could look at adopting how tracing approaches releases within their mono repo. Instead of releasing everything at once, they are able to release individual components. Would be worth looking...

calling post.setFlip(false) after init just draws a black screen for me..... ? this works as a temp work around for the time being post.draw(0,ofGetHeight(),ofGetWidth(),0-ofGetHeight());

Agh yep changing slitscan and ofImage to OF_IMAGE_COLOR_ALPHA did the trick! thanks heaps Jim!
