Game library audit
Feature description
It would be nice to have the ability to audit the library to identify and remove dead links/uninstalled games.

( Exemplo: PS2 )
English only here please, thank you.
Ok...
I would like to be able to edit the advanced screen and add a custom platform to the Library....
For example, when we are playing a Steam game, the game platform appears in the corner.
When we add a game to Playnite's pre-selected library, it says "Playnite" in the corner.
Above is an example of a Steam game (automatically identified)
Above is an example of one installed outside the store, I would like to place a personalized image and change the name from "Playnite" to one of my choice. (Example: PS2)
How is that in any way related to this issue?
Is there any way to edit and add a custom image and text?
or add a new category to be identified by selecting the game platform?
Example of emulators: PS2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 64
This has nothing to do with this specific issue, please stop posting off topic messages here, thank you.

You need to use custom theme.
or add a new category to be identified by selecting the game platform?

Rather than open a new issue, I would like to ask if there are any plans to add this functionality? During a library update probably makes the most sense, removing games that are no longer installed would make this a much cleaner interface.
Thank you!
There are no short term plans for this.
Why would you want to remove uninstalled games? You can just enable filter to show installed games only.
Filter is a perfectly good workaround, but in a large, or old, or frequently-changing library, mightn't there eventually be performance issues if the database is left unpruned?
But agreed, the filter is a good way to address this request.
