Horizontal swipes don't work after selecting run a command, even after being switched back to default.

Describe the bug

In linux mint 22.1, after you select xdotool commands for alt tabbing or whatever, the horizontal sweepings (probably verticals either but I didn't test those) are not being detected, and even if u go back to any default option from the drop down it still doesn't work, you have to purge the installation and reinstall again for it to go back to default behavior.

Expected behaviour

to run the xdotool command when swept horizontally.

Actual behaviour

nothing happens.

Logs

I'm a new linux user, im trying to learn how to use linux for now, I don't have any logs atm.

$ touchegg --debug none, sorry

Your environment

  • Version of Touchégg: 2.0.16+victoria (the one that comes in linux mint 22.1 by default)
  • Desktop Environment: Linux Mint 22.1
  • Are you using Wayland? IDK, probably no.

Hi!

Can you share your configuration? It is placed in your home folder > ".config/touchegg/touchegg.conf". The ".config" file is hidden, so you'd need to display it in you file manager.

Nobody reported issues with xdotool so far, and it is one of the most common use cases, so hopefully, we can solve this problem changing your config.
