Hyrule Warriors Animations not seeable/imprtable

Open Kite2810 opened this issue 11 months ago • 4 comments

Hey, so my problem is that I can´t open animations with the plugin in noesis. I tried an older version and the latest version. The animations should be in data/action/motion - inside a bin.gz file, but there are only files with the name File 0 - File 16. They seem to have no header and no extension. If I rename them to .g1a/.g2a noesis will crash. If I´m not completely stoopid.... then there is a way to import and extract them with noesis?

PS: The texture and model works totally fine.

kind regards, Kité

A little addition.... I solved that problem temporarely by hex editing File 9.

I just don´t know now, how to switch between animation.

It looks like your extractor didn't give you correct extensions, file 9 is probably an animation bundle of some sort

I used toolbox for extraction and yuzu iirc. In the end I just switch between animations by deleting the header of file 9 and every animation with the animation header that your plugin can read.

I see, what I'd recommend instead is to drag and drop the bin.gz files on Cethleann.unbundler, this will unpack them with a proper extension (.datatable). After that simply drag and drop the 9.datatable on Cethleann.unbundler again to extract all the animations that it has. You will then just need to copy paste your g1m and your g1t file next to them and make sure "merge all" is enabled to load all of them at once (you can go into Tools->Data VIewer->Animations to preview them one by one) You can get Cethleann.Unbundler in the zip of the release section of this repo https://github.com/yretenai/Cethleann/releases
