All of the underlying APIs work at the block level, we cannot report smaller than block progress without extremely heavy and breaking refactor which are not intrested in taking part...
@godcong a file is breaken up in ~256KiB blocks, I havn't checked recently but what should happen is that you get progress info after each block. That already a thing....
@feld CI is not passing try running `go vet ./...` on your code.
@Winterhuman actually any reason you can't just use `IPFS_PATH` ?

Also what does *fail* means. Any error message ? Or the binary segfault while trying to run it ?
I am not in favor of moving all of `ipfs refs`, just `ipfs refs local` => `ipfs repo ls`.
