I have exactly the same issue - upgraded to 1.0.0, deleted all devices, restarted node-red and rediscovered all devices. All wemo devices now duplicated in Alexa. I have tried this...

OK - seems to be an Alexa issue - the devices are found even if the raspberry pi running homebridge is turned off.... ?
