How to automate tileiconify after software upgrade? (like constantly chrome upgrades)

If you are asking about how to deal with icons resetting after an update. in most cases (like chrome discord....) you can use Build Custom Shortcut then set the Custom Shortcut's icon, this will not be changed after an update

Hi @andrealme ,

And! That process is:

1. Open TileIconifier
2. On the Utilities tab, open the Custom Shortcut Manager and click "Create New Shortcut"
3. Click on the Other tab and then click the Browse button
4. Locate your file and highlight it, then click Open
5. This will insert the file path in the Shortcut Target
6. Now click the small square labeled Icon and browse to the Icon you want to use
7. Now click in the Shortcut Box next to the Icon Box and give your shortcut a custom name
8. Now click Generate Shortcut
9. Close both of the open Shortcut manager windows and after TileIconifier refreshes, select the new shortcut and adjust the size and background, and then click Tile Iconify at the bottom
10. Now open the Start Menu, All Apps, Tile Iconify folder, and right click your new shortcut and select Pin to Start

It's not as involved as it looks - REALLY intuitive once you do it a few times. AND...most of all...it WORKS! Even using Chrome Canary - which pretty much updates all the time, I've seen no icons reset for a good few weeks.

And, please, if I may - cri de cœur to Good Brother @Jonno12345 - your FINE app Tileiconifer is the doggone bomb! Even the SMALLEST bit of updates are VALUED and APPRECIATED. PLEASE Post your Patreon, too if you can.
