Tile icon revert after program update

Don't know if I am doing something wrong, but after successfully altering the tile icons for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge they revert to the tile before editing, after applying updates to the browsers. You have to edit the tile icon again after every update.

This is my experience also. Evidently the updaters re-register the original icon upon update.
