scenic-view No details available inside a ControlsFX PopOver

When my app pops a ControlsFX PopOver, the hierarchy inside the PopOver shows up in the left-hand hierarchy pane, which is great.

However, clicking in the hierarchy under the PopOver neither highlights the relevant parts in the PopOver in yellow, nor updates the Details pane to the details of the selected Node.

No exceptions are thrown from Scenic View.

I have the same issue with MenuBar -> Menu SubWindows.
