I actually thought about making the editor and it's tools much more modular, so you can add your own tools or replace existing ones with your own implementations.

This is a major change though that has to be well prepared. And since I have to use me free-time to work on the editor right now, it might take a while until this is implemented.

Hi @JonasDoebertin, I really like the editor and the idea to add custom tools. Do you have any plans for the future? Otherwise I would fork the editor and dive into the project.

I'd love to get some kind of JS-API to add custom tools going but unfortunately I don't have the time to work on it right now. 😩
