Average Joes is a decentralized organization of software developers who work on external applications as well as internally managed open source tools dedicated towards developer efficiency. We plan on building out DAO tooling to organize the internal governance.

@markspereira the Slack Colony uses is for internal team communication currently. Are you in need of a channel for your team?

@jrmoreau no I’m doing a survey to see how much blockchain teams are using slack. I’m going in the direction of building a slack app that utilises colony.

@markspereira I've been working in blockchain for 4 years and have never worked at a company that does not use Slack. That should say something ;-)

@markspereira Any updates on the project? Are you still looking for team members? Not sure how much I could help with the slack integration but if you are planning to create an app that manages domains, tasks and member reputation for "Average Joes", I can help. I have experience with React, Redux, Webpack, Node and working knowledge of Web3 and Solidity. Looking through projects and Colony documentation today with a lot of time in the coming week to help out. Let me know.
