Black Screen?
One player on my server reported that he had a black screen. Only overlays like the hotbar or HWYLA worked. Since I didn´t have that problem I can´t reproduce it with or without additional mods. Here some errors from the log file: https://paste.dimdev.org/iwudodosal.rb
Could you have them check if it happens with just BP and if it doesn't, if it happens with just BP+OF? Preferably with default configs only disabling OF's Fast Render (if it's even enabled by default).
There's an issue with a similar description (#130) which I'm also unable to reproduce on my machine, so I need as much detailed info from a clean environment as possible.
He is offline now... I maybe can tell you tomorrow. Fast Render is disabled in the modpack by default
but i have bp + OF and when i disable fast render the screen goes white instead and there is a big OpenGL error
i did all of that but its a diferent mod thats causing the white screen issue
That's contradictory, if you did what I said, then there are no other mods. What did you do and what was the result?
Please give more elaborate answers. With just BP, everything is fine. With BP+MCMultiPart the screen is white. Is that what you're saying?
no i took the bp mod out and then with multipart the screen was still white. so it was just multi part not bp
Alright, so the original issue still exists and is independent from your issue because OP's report doesn't have MCMultiPart installed.
by the way, if you have optifine enabled, make sure that Antialiasing is at none, as that caused the black screen for me.
I know this is an old issue topic but I just experienced this issue as well. I had a white screen with ui still visible with resource packs installed, when i removed the resource packs the screen was brown instead. Took me a long time to narrow it down to this mod, it somehow got disabled on one of my restarts without me noticing while i was removing mods one at a time to find the cause and noticed the screen issue was no longer there. With all the mods reinstalled but BetterPortals still disabled my white/brown screen issue is gone. I do not have MCMultiPart installed and I have Antialiasing in optifine turned off.
