Locked Stash/Group
As a user. I want to lock a stash/group. Then unexpected/unwanted changes on it will be avoided.
Problem Statement
Currently it's very easy to miss click those option buttons and at least for me, they aren't clear enough and are very close to each other.
Preferred Solution(s)
Would be nice to have a "lock" feature that when enabled, the user wouldn't be able to perform any relevant action there. (create, update, delete).
The only available options would be "unlock" and "open all tabs in this group", the other ones would be hidden.
To see the other options the user would need to unlock the stash/group.
Alternative Solution(s)
Perhaps an easier solution would be improve those buttons, making them bigger or splitting them into groups by action.
For me as a user isn't so good to have an option to "load all tabs" close to a "load all tabs and delete the group".
Specially when the delete option doesn't have a confirmation button.
Other option is providing a way to use a custom CSS that applies only for the extension elements.
Additional Context
I know the "deleted items" option is always there, but it's there as a backup instead of a feature that I should use all the time.

I will definitely be looking into button spacing in the next release—others have mentioned it in the past as well.
From what you wrote, I'm getting the impression that the "lock" feature is really more of a workaround for the fact that it's too easy to make a mistake with the "load and delete" or "delete" buttons. Is it fair to say that fixing the button spacing/making it harder to delete a group by mistake would address your concern? Or is there another reason you'd like to have a "lock" feature?

100% fair.
I saw other add-ons enable the option of customize the UI, hiding/showing or positioning elements, some of them also enable custom css.
It might not be necessary here, but it's something to keep in mind for the future.
I would still prefer an actual lock function, not having the function gives me anxiety as I just KNOW I will misclick, no matter how well they are separated in UI, consider it as an ADHD accessibility feature please 😁
Just a note about this issue being removed from the milestone: I still plan to make it harder to delete things by mistake in the next feature release. We can keep this issue as purely for "locking" given that there is more interest in that.
