Allow the ability to pin a saved set of stashes

Open scfcode opened this issue 3 years ago • 4 comments

Allow a saved stash to be pinned, such that it would remain at the top of the side bar set or at the top of the tab stashes show on a new tab. This will let users keep a few key stashes at the top of the sidebar sets or at the top of the tab page. Without this feature some key stashes I like to maintain are further down the side bar (means I have to scroll, either in the side bar or on the tab, essentially a waste of time).

Preferred Solution(s)

The ideal solution would be to allow a user to pin a stash in the side bar, and this would provide the pinning. The order in which they appear would order a pinned stash.

Alternative Solution(s)

I don't know any alternatives, other than manually keep moving the stashes I want back to the top, but that's a pain.

Additional Context

None

This would be awesome! Love the extension overall, but this is the one thing that Safari Tab Groups does that is extremely useful.

This would be very helpful. I keep 3-4 primary stash groups, but sometimes I still need to stash whatever I have open into a new group, and if I do that a few times, my main groups are no longer visible without scrolling.

A related feature, not exactly an alternative, might be to have an option for new stash groups to be made at the bottom of the list (at least, when stashing all open tabs to a group, not when creating a new, empty group).

Thanks again for your work on this amazing extension.
