High end programmers use an algorithm database that gets compiled to device specific commands. Investigate schemes that are ideally usable for both our project and others

Note Open Programmer had a few thoughts here: http://openprog.altervista.org/OP_eng.html#Protocol But they only targeted PIC. Still, might be a good starting point to review their work

kevtris possibly published his allpro bytecode, might also look into that (or ask him if its not published)
