Excellent package

Finally you have a working package out of a long debate in community.rstudio.com

But I have 2 questions

  1. Why different names
  2. Will it also stop at version 0.4 like ggvis

Hi Vikram, thank you for the kind comment, answering your questions in reverse order if I may.

I hope I can keep g2r updated and current, there is still much to do and refactor. The internals of ggplot2 are very complex and difficult to replicate (at least to me). I have used a different nomenclature so that both packages can be loaded at the same time, otherwise function names would clash and one would override the other.
