App cannot perfectly loop video uploaded

I uploaded a loop video, but there’s an obvious pause when it restarts. I’m wondering if this is a technical limitation or just an issue with my computer. MacOS Tahoe 26.0

Same here, it worked smoothly for a few weeks, but after a (Mac Mini) restart, there is an annoying short black flicker when the background movie restarts. Mac OS Sequoia 15.7.1 (but it started on 15.6, I was hoping the updates help but they didn't). Restarts didn't help unfortunately....

We use the built in macOS player, it used to work perfectly as long as you only had one video. I'll try and check if anything changed. Are you both using Intel or ARM ?

I got the same issue, also while playing back just 1 video on loop. I'm on ARM FWIW.

Video fades are also off:
